PronTech™ is not in the list of chemicals considered to be carcinogenic by the International Agency for research on Cancer (I.A.R.C.), the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (O.S.H.A.) and the National Toxicology Program (N.T.P.).

PronTech™ ’s very low toxicity (Toxicological Category III) has allowed the approval of its use at 200 parts per million (ppm) for the disinfection of elements which enter into direct contact with food, without having to rinse with potable water.

The low concentration used gives the product a high output, thus achieving in this way a decrease of the costs assigned to disinfection programs.

Due to PronTech™ ’s concentration and high germicidal power, low quantities of the product are required. For example, through 1 pound of PronTech™ you are able to obtain a high number of ready to use gallons of solution:

1 pound = 119.21 gallons of ready to use solution at 400 ppm

PronTech™ acts in the presence of organic matter and does not lose its properties in the presence of oxygen and ultra violet rays, contrary to halogens (iodine and chlorine). When applied, it is not altered, in any way, be exposure to the air since it cannot form to become a gas and has no vapor pressure.

PronTech™ will remain stable for up to 5 years in dry form, under proper storage conditions, and 1 year in liquid form.

PronTech™ is capable of destroying microorganisms for long period of time after application.

PronTech™ penetrates rapidly and efficiently in minute crevices and pockets in places that other biocides are unable to reach. PronTech™’s action reduces the surface tension of the water system and allows less solution to be used and more coverage to be achieved. By adding PronTech™ to water, you are eliminating the electronegativity and breaking the Hydrogen bridges that hold the water molecule together.

PronTech™ is odorless and colorless and has a slight bitter taste that does not affect the application in any way, nor does it acquire at any point in the process.

PronTech™ penetrates quickly and efficiently in crevices and fissures which would not be possible to disinfect with other products, since its action reduces the liquid’s surface tension. The maximum reduction capacity of the surface tension is 1 dyne/cm2.

PronTech™ is non-corrosive with:

It also does not harm concrete or brick.

PronTech™ has a neutral pH of 7 to 8 and can act within a wide pH range of 3 to 11 without altering the pH of the solution in which it is used.

PronTech™ in non-carcinogenic and is 100% biodegradable in all sewage systems. Because of its low toxicity, no special clothing or gloves are required for operators. It is environmentally friendly and safe for the personnel who use it.

PronTech™ is a nontoxic product with an LD50 (Lethal dosage) in albino rats at 525 mg/kg of body weight.

PronTech™ is compatible with all substances that are cationic and with non-ionic substance in the proportion of 1.5 to 1.0 of the product. PronTech™ is incompatible with anionic soaps and detergents. These product should be rinsed away thoroughly before applying PronTech™.
